  1. Stanislav Sinyagin it’s actually used by recruiters a lot. They pay for the subscription fee to be able to contact candidates. I don’t know how much they make from that, but at least they have a business model outside of the traditional advertising.

  2. Stanislav Sinyagin​ of course not. My point was merely that isn’t not impossible to monetise it. What is their revenue breakdown? Have they reported on how much comes from subscriptions?

  3. I am hard pressed to think of any tech industry products that would effect my life less than this one does. I actively avoid using LinkedIn, and have always avoided using all of Microsoft products.

  4. I recall reading an interview somewhere that there are people who imagine you can combine two or more bad companies and somehow use the assets to get a good company out of that. I also recall some investor bragging about owning numerous internet-based companies – looked at the internet companies they were referring to and nearly every one of them was a dog.
