On a more trivial note, she was also the first actor to depict the female orgasm in mainstream cinema (at a time when many males still doubted such a thing could exist): an amazing human being whatever your starting point.

It was called Ektase (Ecstasy), a 1933 Austrian-Czech co-pro. There are excerpts on YouTube, but I haven’t found the whole thing online.
