As far as I can read he’s more of a script kiddie than a genuine hacker. The mere fact that his “secret question” was guessable and used across two individual email accounts…
Malthe Høj-Sunesen he definitely does sound like a script kiddie, a slightly more advanced kiddie, but still one who makes use of known exploits, rather than developing his own zero days. Also he is using a server in Iran and he seems to be logging into it through Tor or perhaps a group of Zombie machines, or maybe just a bunch of public Internet cafes, and he has a phone from Russia, so he at least has a tiny bit of sophistication in trying to avoid being caught, but the fact that he was so easily hacked by someone guessing security questions shows that he couldn’t have been all that sophisticated.
The name Ali Reza gave me a chuckle: the Ali Reza Shrine is in my dad’s hometown in Iran, it is one of the most famous tourist places in Iran. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imam_Reza_shrine
