It’s now official: Angular 1.0 is henceforth to be called AngularJS while Angular 2.0 will be known simply as Angular.

Personally I would prefer the nomenclature which had Angular 1.0 referred to as Real Angular and Angular 2.0 as A_BIG_STEAMING_PILE_OF_BULLCRAP.
