I’ve tried so hard to like Angular2… just can’t do it. Still have to check out Vue.js. Has anyone forked Angular1 yet to continue its development? I’m pretty happy with it.

Roberto Bayardo They re-branded 1 as AngularJS. I’d be surprised if it completely went away. They have said it will be supported until the majority of traffic no longer goes to angularjs.org – AngularJS — Superheroic JavaScript MVW Framework

Yes Roberto Bayardo I think it really needs to be forked. That said check out Vuejs, it’s fast and Angular1.0-like sans a few things you won’t miss.
