I think the only use for web push notifications is for throwing together a test harness for your push enabled back end, before your mobile apps are ready.
Peter da Silva is that a ff setting? I mean, I could check now I guess. I have FF 57 beta running. And in private mode. I don’t get any notifications, but am wondering what it would do if I checked that setting as FALSE? I also have uBlock which won’t show some newspapers. I’m happy with that.
No, the users want autoplay videos with voice on 🙂

But my interwebs is so slow I can read most websites before the video loads.

Web push notifications are useful for webmail and web instant messaging apps, and that’s about it.
