Wait until you see the kids try to touch the TV, Laptops with no touch screen and even old school PDAs. Then there is that touch lag from resistive touch screens common on stuff like stand alone GPS devices.
Meng Shen Lim they figure out the difference really quick though: in couple tries they already know which devices respond to touches and which are like dumb walls to hold on or like toys to throw around.

I remember hearing my kid and friend at 6 shouting “pause the game!” when they were playing outside.
