It would be even better if everything were in monospace type. I’ll draw the line at multiple font sizes: multiple font sizes are OK, but multiple font faces are too much of a distraction fron the true form of the material.
I’m joking, but I do appreciate content that formats well on a VT-100 terminal emulator.
I think proportional spaced fonts are acceptable. Brutalism doesn’t preclude a small amount of typesetting sophistication. Monospaced fonts are an artefact of the continued need for tabular columns and ASCII art in coding and documentation.
