I did not know that! Let me check my copy. [rustle, rustle]. I can’t lay my hands on my first edition K&R, but my second edition has the gag. Along with several references to page numbers in the text, it also includes the page number of the page containing the recursion entry in the index. LikeLike Reply
Andres Soolo you’re quite right, I checked it myself last night. I remember having owned an Introduction to TeX that may fit the length of the pictured book, but do not currently have it. BTW it had many errors. John Hardy was it that book? LikeLike Reply
